Special attention will be paid to Nazi use of media, propaganda, political manipulation, and their effects on the German people. Watercoloring for beginners and intermediates F17 Section 1

NOTE: This class is identical to the Section 2 in content. We are trying to accommodate more people without overfilling the classes. This class will be a gently guide you into watercolor painting. We'll cover the basic stuff like how to do a wash, what kind of brush, what kind of paper and what kind of paints to use. We'll also cover more advanced and stylized skills in this class. Drawing skills are not needed. Learn how to mix colors and how to understand the color wheel. Each week or two we'll create a masterpiece suitable for framing. There is a material fee of $8.00 to cover the paint, paper and brushes included in the cost.

This course will begin with an overview of what Facebook is. Students will then create a Facebook account. Upon completing the course, students will learn how to navigate and use Facebook, create person and business pages, along with best practice tips to get the most out of their Facebook experience

Bring a fully charged laptop. There are a few laptop computers for loan during class only. About the Instructor: Steven Nickerson was born in Bar Harbor, Maine and currently lives in Lamoine. In 2011 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a double major in History. In 2014 he earned a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. Currently he is working towards a Master’s Degree in Adult and Higher Education. Steve has taught computer technology for another local adult
