Learn to use this cloud-based program to creat and share doucments, spreadsheets, presentations, set up a Gmail account, and more. Computers will be available for this training, you will not need bring a laptop but you can bring a fully charged laptop if you wish. No special software is required/needed.

The Maine Digital Inclusion Initiative (MDII) is a program developed by the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) to deploy teams of AmeriCorps volunteers, throughout the state of Maine, to provide free of charge computer skills training, that is open to the public in community centers, libraries, and adult education facilities. The MDII goal is to confront barriers to digital literacy while connecting communities, employers, workers, neighbors, and decision makers around to make a positive impact impact on the issues of economic development through workforce education as well as technology training for older adults with aging in place concerns.
