Chef Bill Morrison will start from the beginning when it comes to cooking rice including how to cool and season rice to make the perfect rice for learning the art of sushi. After cooking the rice you will learn how to make two basic rolls: Maki and Inside-Out. In the second class you will learn the art of cutting vegetables and prepping them for Maki Rolls. You will also prepare sauces for the roll and explore the classic Japanese rolls that are the foundation of Sushi. The final week is all about Pirate Sushi. This is a time to experiment and create some "American" sushi rolls. You are invited to bring some ingredients from home to use as well!
