Mt. Desert Island Adult & Community Education

This is a continuation of the beginner’s Spanish class. In this second 4 weeks we will continue to expose learners to basic vocabulary, grammar, and beginner conversation. Effort will be made to tailor the class to learner’s interests and needs. Students will need to purchase "Spanish Made Simple: Revised and Updated" by Judith Nemethy.  Limited copies are available for sale through MDI Adult Ed 288-4703.

Please note that this is an online class. The instructor will send out a Zoom link closer to the start date so you can access the class. If you are new to Zoom and need assistance, please contact Martie Crone at martie.crone@mdirss.org or call 288-4703 at least a day or so before the class begins.

Instructor Bio: I am creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated native-Spanish speaking from Mexico and a Maine Certified Spanish Teacher K-12. I have been teaching Spanish at a High school for 5 years.
