Need only a few credits to complete your high school diploma? Through an online learning program you can work at your own pace through step-by-step lessons while working with a teacher on a weekly basis to earn those lingering credits. Special focus and attention will be on your college and career interests. We might even have a survey course you can take to explore a career option!

Needed: Computer or Tablet with Internet

Commit to 5-10 hours of online study per week

Commit to 1-2 in-person meetings weekly with an instructor for workshops and progress checks

Students passing this class earn one high school credit. The course foundation is delivered via Odysseyware and may be supplemented with pre-alg units via in online learning or taught directly by the teacher as needed.

Computer and Internet and ability to come meet the teacher on a weekly basis.CASAS (assessment) math score of 240+ or willingness to remediate immediately. Rolling admissions; Self-paced.

Dates and Times can be flexible. No fee if the student is enrolled in the HiSET or diploma program. Please register by calling us instead.

HiSET ® Tutoring, Prep, and Classes

The HiSET® has replaced the GED in the state of Maine. A student who successfully passes the HiSET® will be awarded a High School Equivalency Diploma. Intake, pre-assessments, tutoring, practice tests, and exam are free of charge to Maine Residents. Accommodations can be made for those with documented disabilities. This class prepares students for one or more of the HiSET exams. Upon completion of any one subject level, students will be referred to the Chief Examiner to sit for the exam. Student should plan to spend 3-6 hrs/week in class.
