Tai Chi Essentials (seated) Section 3

Relieve stress, increase flexibility, and improve your balance. Develop awareness of your internal energy. Deepen and strengthen your awareness in each session you take. Class structure will be 30 minutes of seated instruction and 15 minutes of Q&A. Wear comfortable clothing. No previous Tai Chi experience required.

This is a live, online Zoom class.  No class 4/19/22.

Barre Bootcamp Section 3

Barre Bootcamp is a low impact workout that will produce a big burn! Barre combines elements of strength training, Pilates/Yoga and dance. Small movements and many reps will help sculpt and tone muscles you didn’t even know you had!

This class is offered virtually through Zoom. Equipment that will be used include: a chair or countertop or something to hold onto, light hand weights, versa loop, gliding disks for hardwood floors (or use socks or face cloth) for carpet floors (or use paper plate), bender ball (or equivalent). These sessions will be recorded and available to registrants for one-week after each class.

Pumped Up Strength Section 3

Welcome to a new approach to resistance training! Utilizing combination movement patterns in a targeted, rhythmic progression. Its superpower is the dynamic integration of upper and lower body movements set to fun music. The result? A sweat-drenched, functionally efficient workout that will challenge your body in new ways, improve lean muscle mass, and rev your metabolism. You will want a set of hand weights anywhere from 5lbs-15lbs.

This is a live, online class on Friday mornings. Recordings will be available to registrants for one week after each class.

Medicare 101 4/25/22

Eastern Area Agency on Aging's Medicare 101 class is specifically designed for those who are preparing to sign up for Medicare. Whether someone is turning 65, still working, getting ready to retire, or under 65 and receiving disability benefits. Our presentation provides an overview and introduction to the different parts of Medicare and what each part covers; along with Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplement insurance/Medigap, Medicare Savings Program, and Medicare Fraud. Eastern Area Agency on Aging does not contract with any insurance company and therefore provides unbiased educational information on options that will best suit an individual's needs.

Relaxation and Stress Reduction with Hatha Yoga Section 3

Michelle will guide you in a sequence that calms the nervous system along with stretching the body and clearing the mind. Breathing techniques, short meditation and positive affirmations will end the practice.

 Supplies needed: Yoga Mat, rug, towel, blanket, pillow, computer/tablet/smarphone to attend class via Zoom.

Chair Yoga Section 3

This morning class practiced in a chair offers mind and body benefits without having to get up and down off the floor or even changing into Yoga clothes. Chair Yoga can be practiced at home or at the office to calm the mind for focus and concentration and warm up the body for an energetic day.


Functional Wellness: Senior Fitness Section 3

In this hour-long class, Michelle will support you in improving your strength, flexibility, cognitive, and spiritual health.

Food Addicts In Recovery Anonymous (FA) offers a solution for all forms of food addiction.

Many people in FA are finding recovery from obesity, under-eating, bulimia and obsession with food, weight and dieting.

There are no dues or fees. Attend an informational session by phone or computer via zoom.
